Full-text search configuration

You must complete a set of configuration tasks before enabling full-text search for Rational® ClearQuest® Web.
Configuring and enabling the full-text search feature for Rational ClearQuest Web consists of the following tasks:
  1. Review the feature-level requirements for deploying full-text search.
  2. Ensure that the full-text search feature is installed. For information about installing this feature, see Installing Rational ClearQuest Web server.
  3. Use the Full-Text Search Administrator tool, cqtsadmin.pl, to set up and configure the feature. Scenarios for setting up and configuring full-text search describes some common use-case scenarios.
  4. Ensure that Solr is running.
  5. Secure the Solr administrative console.
