Disabling persistent cookies

You can disable the default behavior of storing persistent cookies on client computers.

Before you begin

Your user account must be set up with the Super User privilege to disable the storing of persistent cookies on client computers.

About this task

Disabling persistent cookies does not remove cookies that are stored on client computers. These cookies remain until they expire or are removed manually.

Procedure

Click Site Administration > Configuration in the Rational® ClearQuest® Web client toolbar. The Site Configuration window opens.
Click the Security Options tab.
Select the Disable Persistent Cookies check box.
