Persistent cookies and session cookies
Rational®
ClearQuest® Web
creates session cookies on client computers during the active session.
By default, Rational
ClearQuest Web
also stores persistent cookies on client computers to personalize
the logon process.
Persistent cookies remain on client computers until they expire one year later or are removed manually. This expiration period is renewed each time a new session is started. Disabling persistent cookies does not remove cookies that are stored on client computers.
Session cookies are written to client computers during the active session, even when persistent cookies are disabled. After a user logs out, the session cookies are removed.
Table 1 describes the persistent cookies that are created by Rational ClearQuest Web.
Cookie name | Description |
