About creating and editing report formats
To modify an existing report format or to create your own, you must
purchase and install Crystal Reports Professional Edition. Includes predefined reports and
report formats.

Before you use Crystal Reports to create a report format, verify that your machine is connected to a printer. You are instructed to identify your printer during the Crystal Reports printer setup.
Use the Crystal Reports Professional Designer tool when you create a report format for the first time. For more information, see the Crystal Reports documentation .
