Importing and exporting data

This topic describes how to import and export data between Rational® ClearQuest® databases an database, and how to import data into a Rational ClearQuest database from another defect tracking system.

To prevent data corruption, you must export and import data only between databases that have the same data code page value. For more information, see the Rational ClearQuest and code pages information in the online help for the Administrator role.
