Configuring security for the Report Launcher and reports
Rational ClearQuest provides default security roles and configuration to restrict access to the Report Launcher for ClearQuestRational ClearQuest and access to individual directories and reports using WebSphere® Application Server J2EE security. This configuration can be customized for your environment by updating the deployment descriptor and mapping users and groups to security roles.

Managing credentials for BIRT reports
To build BIRT reports that allow user credentials to be passed or entered at runtime, define Rational ClearQuest data sources in BIRT to permit user and password information to be passed as invocation parameters by the Report Launcher at run time.
