Checklist of user tasks on Linux and UNIX system
Before you can use a Rational®
ClearQuest® client,
you must complete several post-installation tasks. These tasks vary
based on the Rational
ClearQuest client
you want to use.
Before you configure the Rational
ClearQuest
client for your local system, gather the following information from the System Administrator for
your Rational
ClearQuest environment:
- User ID and password credentials for the Rational ClearQuest client you plan to use
- Confirmation that the Rational ClearQuest client is deployed in your environment
- A valid license for running the Rational ClearQuest client

All Linux installations require you to install a browser and configure the HOME and PATH variables before you can start the client.
