Configuring ClearQuest core logging and tracing

Each ClearQuest component maintains separate error and message log files. ClearQuest core uses the TSlogger logging and tracing package to log errors and messages, and maintains a separate properties file, tslogger.properties, to configure this utility.

Log files are created on the computer where the ClearQuest software is installed. The log files capture a running history of fatal errors, errors, warnings, and optionally, informational messages. Use these log files to diagnose and troubleshoot known or potential issues.
