Managing OSLC integrations in a load-balanced Rational ClearQuest Web deployment
By default, Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC)
configuration settings for Rational®
ClearQuest® are
stored in files on the server. In a load-balanced environment, you
can store these settings as master properties in the schema repository
for shared use by all the servers in the deployment.
In most cases, OSLC configuration settings that are stored in the repository are automatically managed by using the OAuth Consumer Management, Cross-Server Communication, and Project Relationship windows of the Site Administration user interface. However, there are some cases where it might be useful or necessary to manually store these configuration settings in the repository. Such instances include a Rational ClearQuest MultiSite deployment, instances where you have to copy OSLC configuration settings from one repository to another, and instances where you want to update the repository with updates that you made to one or more OSLC configuration files on the server.
