Viewing and changing mastership of a workspace item

You can change the mastership of a workspace item or record as needed. You must have mastership of the item or record before you can change it.

About this task

To view and change the mastering site of a Rational® ClearQuest® workspace item:

Procedure

  1. Right-click the item in the workspace and click Mastership. The Change Mastering Site window opens. The current mastering site appears next to the label Current Mastering Site.
  2. To change the mastering site of the workspace item, select a site from the New Mastering Site list and click OK. After you change the mastering site, the item appears dimmed in the workspace.

What to do next

After you change the mastering site, you must log on to the new mastering site to revert this change.
