Logging on to a Rational ClearQuest database

The Rational® ClearQuest® database contains the records, queries, charts, reports, and more that you can work with.

About this task

To log on to a Rational ClearQuest database:

Procedure

  1. Click Start > Programs > IBM Rational > IBM Rational ClearQuest > Rational ClearQuest.

    If multiple schema repositories are available, the Rational ClearQuest Schema Repository window opens. Go to Step 2.

    Otherwise, the Rational ClearQuest Login window opens. Go to Step 3.

  2. If the Rational ClearQuest Schema Repository window opens, select the repository that contains the database you need and click Next. opens.
  3. In the Rational ClearQuest Login window, enter your user name and password in the User Name and Password fields, select a database from the Database list, and click OK.

Results

The main window of the Rational ClearQuest for Windows client opens.
