Drilling down in a distribution chart

Rational® ClearQuest® software provides a feature that you can use to select an area of a displayed distribution chart and run the query that produces the records represented by that part of the chart. This feature is not available in trend and aging charts.

About this task

To drill down in a distribution chart:

Procedure

  1. Double-click a data point on the chart. Rational ClearQuest displays a message that indicates the query criteria used to produce the results represented by that part of the chart. You are asked to confirm if you want to query the selected data point.
  2. Click OK.

Results

Rational ClearQuest runs the query and displays the result set in a separate Query window.
