Finding stateless records by using a unique identifier

This topic describes how to find a stateless record by using its unique identifier. The unique identifier of a stateless record appears at the top of the record form.

About this task

To find a stateless record by searching on its unique identifier:

Procedure

  1. In the Search section of the Rational® ClearQuest® Web interface, enter the unique identifier in the Search field. For example, if you are searching for a record type of Customer and the unique identifier for this record type is the customer name, you might search on the name, such as Anne Johnson.
  2. Select ID and click Search. The record appears in the right pane. A record that is mastered remotely is indicated by a remote mastership icon remote mastership icon.
