Finding state-based records by using a record ID

This topic describes how to find a state-based record by searching on its record ID.

About this task

To find a state-based record by searching on its record ID:

Procedure

  1. In the Search section of the Rational® ClearQuest® Web interface, enter the record ID or a unique part of the record ID in the Search field. For example, if you are searching for the record SAMPL00000021, you might search on 21.
  2. Select By ID and click Search. The record appears in the right pane. A record that is mastered remotely is indicated by a remote mastership icon remote mastership icon.
