Exporting record templates

You can export a record template to your file system for later import to another ClearQuest® database or to share amongst colleagues.

Procedure

To export a record template:

  1. Click File > Export > Record Templates.
  2. On the Location and Record Type Selection page of the Export Record Template wizard, select the record template file to export. Record templates files are exported in the .xmi file format.
  3. Click Next.
  4. On the Export File Information page, type a name for the record-template file and click Finish.
