You can create queries to retrieve records in a user database. You can create a query for any record type. - Editing a query
You can edit queries that you create and save in the Personal Queries folder. If you have the appropriate privilege, you can edit queries in the Public Queries folder as well. - Editing a query as SQL text
To edit a query as SQL text, you must have the SQL Editor privilege. - Running a query
You can run a query in the workspace from the Navigator view. - Setting a query to run at startup
You can set one or more queries to run each time you log in to a Rational ClearQuest database. - Importing a query
You can import a query from another ClearQuest database provided both databases use the same schema. Importing queries is a useful feature for sharing queries amongst colleagues - Exporting a query or query results
You can export a query or query results to the file system. Exporting a query is useful for transferring queries from one database to another and for sharing queries amongst colleagues. You can use exported query results as input to other applications.
