Updating properties of user databases

To update the properties of a user database:

1. Start the Designer.
2. In the Schema Repository Explorer view, select a schema repository, and then login to it.
3. Click View > Rational® ClearQuest® Database Admin to open the user database administration view.
4. In the User Database Admin view, right-click the database whose properties you want to modify and click Show Properties. The database properties page opens and contains a Details section with the following three subsections of properties that you can modify: General Database Information, Timeout Settings, and Database Type.
5. Edit the properties.
6. When you are finished, click the Rational ClearQuest Database Admin tab. Then clickFile > Save to save your changes.
