Creating a test configuration

Using the Designer, you can create a test configuration that specifies the test database, or multiple test databases, to use with your schema.

Procedure

To create a test configuration and set the test databases for a schema:

Start the Designer.
In the Schema Repository Explorer view, check out the schema version that you want to associate with the test database.
Right-click the schema version and click Test > New Test Configuration. The Rational® ClearQuest® Test Database Configuration window opens.
Select an existing test configuration, or type a new name in the Name field.
If you have an existing test database, click to select it in the Select Test Database section, or click the Create Database button to create a new test database. Repeat this step to add additional test databases to your test configuration.
Click Apply to save your new test configuration.
