Deleting states

You can delete a state that no longer has any state transitions to or from other states.

Procedure

To delete a state:

  1. Start the Designer.
  2. In the Schema Repository Explorer view, expand the Record Types folder and double-click on a record type. The record type editor opens.
  3. Click on the States tab to view the state transition matrix.
  4. In the state transition matrix, right-click the state that you want to delete and click Remove.
  5. Click OK to delete the state.
