You can change the size of a form to optimize the space
available for the form controls. Changing the proportions of the form
also changes the size and position of the tabs and the default buttons
on the form.
Procedure
To
change the size of a form:
- Start the Designer.
- In the Schema Repository Explorer view, expand Record Types or the
Record Types - Stateless folder until you see the form to resize.
- Double-click the form.
- To resize the form manually, click a corner of the form window
and drag it to the desired shape and size.
- To resize the form to exact dimensions:
- Right-click any where on the form outside of a tab and then click Show
Properties View.
- In the properties page for the form, enter the Height and Width values.
Results
If a form requires more controls than can fit on the main
tab, you can add tabs to the form. See Working with tabs on forms.
