Enabling Rational ClearQuest clients to send email
To take advantage of automatic e-mail notification, each Rational®
ClearQuest® client
on Windows and the UNIX system must enable email notification.
To learn how to enable e-mail notification, refer users to the instructions in the Help for the Rational ClearQuest client. You must provide users with the email provider parameters, such as the SMTP host address of the mail server or the MAPI profile name.
To use MAPI notification for Windows platforms, Collaboration Data Objects must be installed.

ClearQuest Email 1.x
and MAPI support have been deprecated. For enhanced email support, use the EmailPlus 2.1 package.
