Editing field hooks

You can edit field hooks to modify the current behavior of fields.

About this task

To edit a field hook:

Procedure

  1. In the Workspace, expand Record Types. Then expand the desired record type and double-click Fields.
  2. In the Fields grid, double-click the column of the field whose hook you want to edit.
  3. Start the hook editor and edit the hook.
  4. Click Hooks > Compile to catch any syntax errors in your script. Errors are displayed in the Validation pane at the bottom of the Workspace.
  5. If your script compiles correctly, close the editor.
