Deleting field hooks

You can delete field hooks to change the behavior of fields.

To delete a field hook:

Procedure

In the Workspace, expand Record Types, expand the desired record type, and double-click Fields to display the Fields grid.
In the Fields grid, click the cell that contains the hook you want to delete and select NONE. (If the field type is REFERENCE or REFERENCE_LIST and the hook is a choice-list hook, select DEFAULT.)
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Results

After you delete a hook and check in the schema, you cannot restore the deleted hook. If the hook was stored in a previous version of the schema, you can open that version and copy the hook into any schema.
