Deleting schemas or schema versions

You can delete a single version of a schema or all versions of a schema. Deleted schemas and schema versions cannot be restored.

Before you begin

Before you attempt to delete a schema or schema version, verify that both of these conditions are true:

The schema is not currently associated with a user database. If it is, you must first delete the user database.
The schema is not currently checked out. If it is, you must check it in.

About this task

To delete a schema or schema version from the schema repository:

Procedure

Start the Designer.
Click File and the appropriate menu item:
- To delete all versions of the schema, click Delete Schema.
- To delete a single version of a schema, click Delete Schema Version.
Select the schema or schema version and click Delete and Yes.
