Deleting global scripts

You can delete global scripts in your schema.

About this task

To delete a global script:

Procedure

Start the Designer.
In the Workspace, expand the Global Scripts folder, and expand the appropriate language folder, Basic or Perl.
Right-click the script to delete and click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the script.

Results

You do not get a warning if the script you are deleting is still being used in hook code. Deleting the script and not removing the calls from hooks causes errors when users perform an operation that calls the deleted script.
