Defining the behavior of fields

When you add fields to a record type, you must define field behavior.

To define the behavior of a field:

Procedure

  1. Start the Designer.
  2. In the Workspace, expand the Record Types folder and the record type.
  3. Expand States and Actions and double-click Behaviors.
  4. In the Behaviors grid, right-click the column of the field that you want to define and select a behavior for the field.
