Prerequisites for Report Launcher security configuration

Before configuring and enabling the Report Launcher security settings for WebSphere® Application Server, review the LDAP server registry settings and obtain the LDAP user name for your installation.
  1. Understand the LDAP server registry settings for your organization.
  2. Make sure that your reporting environment has been configured for LDAP. See Using LDAP with .
  3. Note the LDAP user name of the WebSphere Application Server administrative user.
  4. Configure a secure connection between the Rational® ClearQuest® Web server and Rational ClearQuest Web client. SeeConfiguring secure connections.
