Editing a user profile from the Rational ClearQuest client

Active users can change their names, email addresses, passwords, and telephone numbers. They cannot change their user login or privileges.

About this task

Changes made to the user profile apply to all the databases to which the user is subscribed.

Note: If your Rational® ClearQuest® environment uses LDAP authentication, you might not have access to edit the user profile even if you have Administrator or Super User privileges. Contact the Rational ClearQuest system administrator for assistance.

Procedure

  1. In the Rational ClearQuest client, click View > Change user profile.
  2. Update the fields that require changes.
  3. Click OK.
